A gentle wipe is as refreshing for plants as it is for us. The main advantage of cleaing the leaves is that your free them from dust. This allows them to breate and photosynthesise better. Cust not only blocks the pores of the leaves, but also inhibits the adsorption of light. The same applies to lime, by the way, which remains on the leaves after spraying. Ideally you should clean the leaves of your plants about every fortnight.
