No garden should be without a nesting box. This basic nesting box made from natural materials will give the beautiful little Wren a cosy place to nest an will help to conserve their population. In the winter months the box is ideal for birds that need to take shelter from the elements. Place the nesting box on a tree or a wall at a maximum height of 2 mtrs in a well hidden spot between shrubbery, not in direct sunlight or in the prevailing rain side, with an easy flight path for the bird. Due to territorial behaviour of the birds its best to hang the box a minimum of 10 mtrs away from nesting boxes of the same species.
