ROBIN/FLYCATCHER NEST BOX FSC MIX CREDIT
No garden can do without a nesting box. This basic nesting box with pure materials will give the robin a good place to nest and will help conserve their population or help their reintroduction in a certain area. This made-to-fit nesting box with zinc roof offers not only the robin, but also the Spotted flycatcher and the Common redtstart a good place to nest. During the winter time this birdhouse will often provide birds with a place to hide from the bad weather.
The best location for this nesting box for robins is to place it in a well hidden spot or right above the ground (no higher than 1,5m (4.9ft)) in between thick shrubbery or vines. Choose a quiet and somewhat sheltered spot, aka not directly in the sun or on the rainside. If the nesting box is placed at a height of 1m up to, and including, 5 m (3.3/16.4 ft), the Spotted flycatcher and Common redtstart will also nest in it.
Autumn is the best time to clean the birdhouse.
