Since the very beginning of recorded history, the Barn Swallow has lived closely with humanity and is seen as the bringer of spring and happiness according to farmers. Swallows prefer to breed clumped together, so it is best to hang multiple swallow nests close together. This Barn Swallow nest is best hung underneath an overhang, in an open barn or on a wall. Do make sure there is a gap of 8cm (3.15) between the top of the nest and the roof.
